Despite the rain, I had a wonderful day catching Michelle and Adam’s wedding.
I had first met Michelle when I was asked to create a video for her formers employers a number of years ago. It was always a pleasure working with Michelle, so when she informed me that she was getting married I offered my services to photograph her day, and I was so thrilled that she accepted.
The day started for me, at the Church, St Chads Church in Bishops Tachbrook. The heavens opened as some of their guests arrive, but fortunately when the bridal party arrived their were blue skies overhead, some of the only time the skies were blue.
The ceremony was lovely and after promises and vows and a couple of readings the couple were wed and after leaving the church we arranged a very tight confetti line, where Adam had to lead his new wife down the line as there simply was not enough room for them to go side-by-side.
We then headed over to the Barn, at this point the British summer was in full force with wind and rain taking over the rest of the day. It didn’t matter too much though, as we did the formal photos inside the barn and even after the speeches we did manage to head outside for a few portrait shots.
The first dance was lovely and the couple led everyone into the evening. Congratulations to Michelle and Adam.
