A beautiful day and wonderful spectacle as we were asked to film and photograph Carl & Claire’s Kingscote Barn Wedding.
Will and I started with Claire up in Tuppence Barn, as Claire, her Bridesmaids and her parents all got ready for the days events. Meanwhile Carl and his Best man were getting the barn ready along with Rebecca at Bijoux Floral.
Once all the guests had arrived and Carl was in position, Claire and the bridal party were driven by her Father in his black taxi.
Soon the ceremony began and after an exchange of vows and rings, the couple were wed and celebrated with a kiss and after the paperwork was completed they walked out hand-in-hand as husband as wife as confetti rained down on them.
The afternoon was glorious, lots of sunshine, it truly was the last day of sunshine and warmth. Canapés being served, Prosecco being liberally poured to the guests made for a great atmosphere.
After a few formals and some arty portrait shots away from the barn, Will and I rushed back to prepare for the speeches.
Laughter and tears were abundant during the Father of the Brides, Grooms and Best mans speeches. After this a fantastic three-course meal was prepared and served by the truly talented individuals at Strawberry Fields, headed by Lee Bishop.
After the first dance, a surprise was organised by the Grooms Father. So we got everyone in position as the valley was illuminated by fireworks. There was even an award winning magician (who we filmed their wedding at the beginning of the year) Christian Fletcher. A fantastic finish to a wonderful day.
