We had an amazing time capturing Jodie & David’s day at Kingscote Barn.
We started at the Four Pillars Hotel in South Cerney as Jodie and her girls got ready. As there were two dresses for this wedding (as there was also two ceremonies) we had sure that each got our full attention. Jonathan was photographing away whilst Ben was filming.
After the make up was finished and everyones hair was beautifully made up by the wonderful Katherine Jennings, Ben headed over to the barn to setup whilst Jonathan stayed and got some shots as Jodie welcomed her father and they got into their wedding cars.
David was a vision of calm and although he was clock watching you could tell that he was excited to see his soon to be wife walk down the rather famous Kingscote Barn runway.
Once Jodie got to the top of the isle, a tear or two was shed. Then we had a very lovely reading and more tears were shed. But soon after, Jodie and David were married, and we couldn’t have been happier for them.
As they left the barn confetti rained down on them as their guests flung petals into the air.
After Jonathan and Ben organised the formal photos, Jodie and David were then welcomed into their wedding breakfast. In-between the starter and main, we had a few speeches from the father of the bride, groom, maid of honour, mother of the bride and the two best men. We almost ran out of batteries!
After the speeches had ended we then all headed outdoors for the Pagan side of the marriage. Although this was new to us, it was most entertaining. The dagger bit especially was a cinematic treat.
After mingling had occurred we then went into the first dance, where the happy couple danced away to the wonderful band.
We were asked to film and photograph their day.
Here are a few picture Jonathan took through their most special day. Congratulations guys!
