We were blessed to have be asked to film for Rebecca and Johnny’s big day at the always fabulous Great Tythe Barn in Tetbury.
We have filmed in the Barn many times in past few years and I can honesty say this was the most unique I have ever seen it. The flowers (arranged by Jodie at Acacia Floristry), the taxidermy and all the table ornaments and lights were truly inspired and wonderfully presented.
Upstairs in the house, the music was pumping as Rebecca and her bridal party got ready. Meanwhile I bumped into Rob Tarren Photographer who was flitting about getting shots from every angle, with Johnny and Rebecca.
The boys headed off to the church in Ashton Keynes in good time and welcomed guests and family from around the world.
With about 10 minutes to go, Rebecca arrived in style and soon after she smiled as she saw Johnny at the top of the aisle. After a couple of readings, vows and promises, the couple were wed and celebrated with a cheeky kiss. After a bit of a sing-song in the church the couple then left to a confetti line. And apparently, in Ashton Keynes the tradition is for the bride to be lifted over the gate, which is on the permitter of the church grounds – new to me! But the Ushers and Groom duly obliged and lifted Rebecca over toward their awaiting car.
Back at the barn the fabulous duo Apollo Soul were setting up to entertain the gathering crowds (they also performed into the evening and the first dance).
The Team at Fosters Catering were on hand to deliver a WONDERFUL meal for all and once all had been cleared, their guests were treated to three perfect speeches. Much love and laughter was felt in the room.
Once the room was cleared we all headed outside to watch some fireworks and keep warm amongst friends. After 10 minutes or so we all headed back inside and it was first dance and party time.
Amazing day! We feel honoured to be capturing it for you Johnny and Becks.
