We had a wonderful day filming for Maria and Michael as they celebrated their at home Welsh Tipi Wedding.

We started the day getting to know the wonderful setting where their Tipi was sited, at the base of their garden in the wild flower meadow. A truly special location.

After a while I wondered up to the house to capture a bit of preparations. Although Michael and Maria were getting ready in the same location, Michael was banished with his son to the Cottage a few yards away from the main house, so no-one could take a peek a the Brides dress before the time was right.

Once the Beetle and VW camper van had arrived, the wedding party headed off to the beautiful Castle Coch.

As the Castle only can have 25 guests at a time for a wedding in the main, almost circular room, the wedding was very small but very intimate. After their few guests had arrived at the Castle. Michael was ready. Following Maria's two daughters she entered the room arm in arm with her Father. A touching moment at any wedding.

After a few readings and an exchange of rings, the couple were wed and they celebrated with a kiss.

After a few formal photos outside with the absolutely amazing photographer, Sandra Ace. All the party headed back to the Tipi to meet their other invitees to their reception. The Tipi was absolutely stunning, with rustic tables and beautiful flowers. All this was arranged by the amazing Stephanie from Bella Rose Wedding Planners.

A roaming band, canapés, ice-cream, champagne and a free bar welcomed the guests.

For their wedding breakfast, even though there was not going to be formal speeches, their were a couple as the relaxed atmosphere of the hot day surrounded everyone.

After the cake was cut, ready for dessert. The couple headed into their first dance.

A wonderful day, beautifully celebrated.
